The Pension Protection Act of 2006 was signed into law. For a limited time, donors can make a charitable contribution directly from an individual retirement account (IRA) without the IRA funds first being subject to taxes, as in the past. The IRA Charitable Rollover Provision is good through December 31, 2007 and applies to the following:
